| Attraction Introduction (Jiufen Old Street)
Once the heart of gold mining in Taiwan, Jiufen is a small mountain town surrounded by the sea and mountains, retaining the quaint charm of its old-world lifestyle. Gold was discovered in the area in 1893, during the Qing Dynasty, attracting a flood of gold diggers, which began its gold rush history. After World War II, the frenzy subsided, and mining officially ceased in 1971.
With the rise of tourism, Jiufen regained its former prosperity. The bustling old street is now a place where busy city dwellers can find a peaceful retreat. The town is nestled in a hilly area by the sea, forming a closely-knit community where interactions among residents are frequent, giving the place a strong sense of local flavor. As the seasons change, so does the mountain scenery, presenting different vistas. Once a dreamland for gold prospectors, Jiufen has now become a haven for many artists.

| Attraction Introduction (Gold Museum)
Located in the mountainous area of Jinguashi in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, the Gold Museum boasts a rich blend of historical, cultural, and natural assets. It is Taiwan's first museum built with the concept of an ecological museum. The ethereal beauty of Teapot Mountain is artistically rendered in ink wash, reflecting the natural tranquility of the Gold Museum. The dynamic calligraphy of the letter 'G' has a dual meaning; it stands for 'Gold' as in Gold Ecological Park, and 'Green', representing the museum's integration of cultural resources into a vibrant, living museum that continues to evolve.
The Gold Museum's main exhibition areas include the Gold Exhibition, which introduces and displays the culture and physical properties of mining; the Benshan Fifth Tunnel Experience, which allows visitors to delve into the mining tunnels; the Environmental Pavilion, showcasing the local ecology and geological features of the Jinguashi area; the Prince Guesthouse, which opens its surrounding gardens for public viewing, displaying the elegance of Japanese architecture. Additionally, the surrounding geological park, Jinguashi Shrine, Teapot Mountain, the POW camp, and Gold Waterfall are must-see cultural and ecological sites near the museum.
