|Attraction Introduction (Jiufen Old Street)
The heart of Taiwan's gold mining, surrounded by mountains and sea, Jiufen offers a varied landscape of mountain and sea views. It is a quaint mountain town that retains the simple life of older days. Gold was discovered in the Jiufen area in 1893 during the Qing Dynasty, attracting a rush of gold miners and prospectors, leading to a gold rush history. After World War II, the gold rush subsided, and the crowd gradually dispersed, finally ending mining in 1971.
With the rise of the tourism industry, Jiufen has returned to its former prosperity. The bustling street is constantly filled with people, and busy city dwellers find a place to relax their minds here. Positioned among hilly terrains facing the sea, Jiufen is a staggered settlement where residents have maintained a simple lifestyle. The close proximity of the houses encourages frequent interaction among residents, giving the place a strong sense of community. With the changing seasons, the mountain scenery also varies greatly. While Jiufen once served as a dreamland for prospectors, it has now become a sanctuary for many artists.

|Attraction Introduction (Gold Museum)
Located in the mountain town of Jinguashi in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, the Gold Museum possesses rich historical, cultural, and natural assets and is Taiwan’s first museum based on the concept of an ecological museum. The museum portrays the ethereal beauty of Teapot Mountain through freehand brushwork in ink, showcasing the natural recreational character of the Gold Museum. The rotating calligraphy character 'G' has a dual meaning, representing 'Gold' from the Gold Ecological Park and 'Green', signifying the museum's integration of cultural resources into a living, ever-evolving entity.
The main buildings of the Gold Museum include exhibitions on mining culture and the physical properties of gold; the 'No. 5 Mine Tunnel Experience', allowing visitors to delve into the mining scenes; the 'Environment Pavilion', showcasing the ecological and geological features of the Jinguashi area; and the 'Prince Hotel', offering garden tours to enjoy the beauty of Japanese architecture. Additionally, the Geological Park, Jinguashi Shrine, Teapot Mountain, POW Camp, and Gold Waterfall are important cultural, ecological, and geological sites not to be missed near the museum.
